Unlike traditional metal brackets, lingual braces are placed on the back of the teeth, creating a more aesthetic look that makes your orthodontic treatment less obvious to friends and family.
What are the Benefits of Lingual Braces?
The main advantage of lingual braces is that you can’t see them. In the beginning of treatment, it might be difficult to speak because the braces are placed on the back of the teeth; however, the majority of our patients get comfortable over time.
How Long Does Lingual Braces Treatment Take?
Since the braces are placed in the back of the mouth, treatment time can take longer. Please also note that appointments with lingual braces are only offered in the morning because they require more doctor time.
